Three bathrooms were remodeled as part of a larger whole home renovation in North Seattle. Each one had a different role in the house, so each was detailed differently — but all three were drawn from a single material palette so they read as part of the same home.
The result is a set of bathrooms that feel clean and contemporary without tipping into cold.

North Seattle Bathroom Renovation
All three bathrooms were fitted out with custom-style wooden vanities, stone countertops, glass shower enclosures, tiled showers, new plumbing fixtures, lighting and hardware.
The bathtub and shower bathroom: This bathroom transformation has the combination bathtub/shower surrounded by light-colored subway tiles and glass – a good choice for a guest or second bathroom, done up using materials that do not compromise on style.'
The walk-in shower bathroom: This is the largest of the three. This bathroom has a large walk-in shower, a shower niche with several showerheads, a glass door and beautiful tiled floor – adding character to the room within the scheme of the entire palette.
Third bathroom: Light-colored wood against the lighter-colored stones provides the base in each room. Glass enclosures, as opposed to curtains and framed doors, allow for unbroken sight lines.
Custom-style wood vanities bring warmth into rooms that can easily end up feeling clinical, and give each bathroom real storage without a bulky footprint.
Stone countertops deliver a durable, low-maintenance surface that holds up to daily use and pairs cleanly with both the wood and the tile.
Frameless glass enclosures keep light moving through the space and make each shower feel larger than its footprint suggests.

There are three bathrooms, the same palette, but three different briefs. The combination of wood and stone makes the rooms warm, the glass and tile make them modern, and the common language of materials gives the experience of moving through the house a sense of continuity.
